Nutrition and Exercise

All the information based on Nutrition, weight management, healthy eating, general well-being, sports specific and personal training are a basic insight to lure you to the table of choice. As all our needs are totally different, most things that we hear and read about are not a true requirement for our own bodies in many cases.

How Nutrition and Exercise makes a difference

Nutrition and exercising is based on our own body science & biomechanics for any changes to take place such as:

Weight-loss, Weight gain, muscle building and exercising for any results to be seen:

  • Looking at those six packs in any magazines are a genetic thing so you would have to blame your parents about yours, the human machine is based on 3 different body shapes... ectomorphic, mesomorphic, or endomorphic which shape are you?

  • To those special breed of cardio warriors: cardio exercises the heart muscle more efficiently and does not burn body fat so easily apart from reducing the water contents stored in your muscles to give you that weight loss feeling that you crave, your BMI may show that you have not lost anything, but your muscle weighs more than fat so I have a more complex way to show where you have lost inches from your body. And remember... water drips and steams from the body not fat.

  • Attacking one body part to reduce or build that specific area alone will alter the structure of the body and will do more harm than good with muscle in-balance and long term injury in most cases.

  • The fat burning zone is a myth. You cannot burn fat by adjusting the settings on the cardio machines so easily. Body fat is burnt only when the frequency, resistance, timing and the intensity is a lot harder to perform.

  • Muscle Building... Lifting up the biggest weights in the world does not build muscles. Period. All that these weights do is stress and split the muscle fibres and as a result of this process, the human machine will adjust and repair itself by increasing the size of the muscles that was stressed by excess force. This is also a genetic process as well and is the reason why some people find it difficult to gain weight & body mass, no matter how hard they try.

  • Muscle tone is a myth as a sense that you can tone them up, muscle tone is an involuntary contraction that we have no control of apart from making the muscles stronger by exercising, for your tone muscle to stand out you will have to lose the excess fatty tissues for the involuntary contracting muscle to show through your skin. One perfect example: the abdominal muscles.

  • Pre and post exercise meals are one of the most important meals that should not be over-looked apart from if you don't want any results to happen, no matter whatever way you eat it ... exercise and nutrition, nutrition and exercise.

  • Adjusting to changes is necessary to maintain your goals. You will have to be self Motivated; disciplined and determined, to reach places in your mind you have never visited before. Like when you were young, skipping and playing kiss-chase, now you have evolved, you will have to take your training more seriously as if it was a kiss from a pretty girl or the guy that catches your eye!

Now ...
do you see why it is all worthwhile?
